As CEO of 8TV, Izham kicked-off a new era in the Malaysian TV industry in 2004 with the launch of one of Malaysia’s most popular and funkiest television channels. Since its birth, 8TV has grown impressively, showing the latest and hippest shows from around the world including Ghost Whisperer, The Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives, Prison Break, The Grammy Awards, even becoming a host broadcaster for the Formula One Grand Prix and Euro 2004.
8TV productions are widely-known for their irreverence including Latte@8 and The 8TV Quickie. In its first year, 8TV has made its presence felt in the TV industry, chalking up impressive viewership and advertising figures and winning Asian-level creative awards for the quality of its in-house promos.
Izham has recently assumed the additional role of Head Of Media Prima Radio Networks, successfully launching the radio stations Hot FM and Fly FM. Fly FM is the no.2 English-language station and Hot FM the overall no.2 station in Malaysia.
Prior to his roles in the media industry, Izham was Managing Director of Positive Tone, an innovative record label which came under multinational giant EMI in 1998. He then served as EMI Malaysia’s Artiste and Repertoire Director. He is also a multiple award-winning music producer, arranger and songwriter. Izham has also recently launched a new record label called Monkey Bone.
Currently on the Board of Trustees for the Asian Television Awards, Izham is also Vice-Chairman of Malaysia’s Music Authors’ Copyright Protection, a performing-rights collection society and speaks regularly on the entertainment, broadcasting and marketing seminar circuit.
Izham has a Music Production & Engineering degree from Berklee College of Music and a MBA from Suffolk University.

Julia’s illustrious 30-year career included appointments as Managing Director of Reckitt Benkiser Malaysia/ Singapore/ Thailand/ Indo China; General Manager of UNZA Malaysia; Executive Director of HEXZA Mather; Marketing Director of Warner Lambert Malaysia and Brand Manager at Fraser & Neave (Malaysia). She was former Deputy Chairman of British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce.
Driven by the long-time passion and dedication to help the underprivileged and disadvantaged, Julia stepped out from high flying corporate world to establish The Truly Loving Company (TLC) in 2006. Instead of working on charities and fundraising activities, Julia tapped on her extensive experience in consumer goods to create a profitable trading company that produces quality household products, in which 100% of the dividends go to charities.
Truly Loving Company is probably the first company in the world to adopt such a model and makes helping the less fortunate possible without donations and fundraising activities. To date, TLC’s products are found in major retail centers and direct beneficiaries of TLC’s efforts are Shelter, Rumah Aman, Hospis and Handicapped and Mentally Disabled Children Association Johor Bahru.

Santosh is currently the Managing Director and CEO of Future Brands Ltd. Before taking up this assignment, he was the President of McCann-Erickson, one of India’s premier advertising agencies. A post-graduate from IIM Ahmedabad Santosh has spent 21 years in Advertising and has been strategically involved in building key brands for a range of local and multinational clients.His principal area of interest lies in studying the relationship between culture and brands.
In this context, he has been responsible for initiating projects that seek a fundamental understanding of the Indian consumer as a product of his/her cultural context.He has conducted workshops on a broad range of subjects in marketing and teaches at several educational Institutions.
He writes regularly on contemporary Indian society and on subjects related to Marketing in leading business and general interest publications including a weekly column in The Times of India –‘City City Bang Bang’.

R. Nadeswaran is a lawyer by training, a journalist by profession and a crusader for accountabilty, transparency and fair play by choice. He started his career in 1972 as a sports reporter and worked in various capacities in the newspaper industry since then. In 1996, he took a break to complete his law studies and obtained his LL.B (Second Class (Upper)) at the Anglia Ruskin University in Essex, United Kingdom. He then spent another year at the Inns of Court School of Law where he completed his Bar Vocational Course. He returned in 1999 and practised law for a short period before returning to journalism.
Nadeswaran has won several awards for journalistic excellence. He was named Journalist of the Year by the Malaysian Press Insititute three times and more recently, he and colleague Terence Fernandez won the "Excellence in Public Service Journalism Award" from the Society of Publishers in Asia.
He is currently the Deputy Editor of the Sun and writes two columns - Citizen Nades (Wednesday) and No Punches Pulled (Thursday).

Khairy graduated from Oxford University with a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. Well known to speak his mind on issues pertinent to him, Khairy is actively involved in the Malaysian political scene and currently holds the role of Deputy Chief UMNO Youth.
He holds a background in journalism and investment banking and is an avid Manchaster United fan.
Executive Creative Director, Leo Burnett / Arc Malaysia and award winning independent filmmaker
Yasmin began her career in advertising as a copywriter at Ogilvy & Mather, eventually rising to creative director at Leo Burnett Kuala Lumpur. A self professed sentimental optimistic, Yasmin is well known for her artistic and moving depiction of Malaysian life through her advertisement and films.
Her feature films to date include Rabun (2003), Sepet (2004), Gubra (2006) and Mukhsin (2007).
