Pimping A Christmas Tree... A festive viral campaign centered around the Facebook social network which engaged users to decorate a Carlsberg themed Christmas Tree by turning their Facebook friends into decorative Christmas trinkets and then literally...hanging them onto it. Our objective was to reinforce Carlsberg's "Nice One" positioning, where users themselves put the finishing decorative touches onto their Christmas Trees.
Completing the experience, the user with the most friends hung was rewarded with an exclusive all-expense paid Christmas party sponsored by Carlsberg. The campaign attracted 9,189 active users who hung 35,122 friends over a span of 18 days leading up to Christmas, making it a pretty "Nice One!"
