An Immersive Interactive Experience
PETRONAS and Mercedes-AMG were about to take their partnership to the next level by developing their first car together: the A45 AMG. Looking at the two brands, one thing was clear. PETRONAS stood for liquid engineering at its finest, while Mercedes-AMG stood for everything there is to love about metal in motion. And that’s how Liquid and Metal in Action was born. But how do you tell the story of two iconic brands coming together in an engaging way?
We asked people to put liquid and metal to work for themselves by setting up an interactive wall in our biggest shopping mall. Users were able to take a literal swipe at mixing the two elements together. Each attempt resulted in a different component of the carbeing formed. The launch of the wall was documented and the video was uploaded online, spurring people on to have a go.
Hoards of shoppers and tourists engaged physically with our campaign. In doing so, people from all walks of life and from all over the globe were now curious about what the rest of the liquid and metal story would entail.
