Tolonglah(Please) Advertise to Malaysian Born Indians
Why so racist, Macha?
You know as well as we do that Indians are hardly featured in ads. Come on, Macha. They deserve to be exploited by advertising like everyone else. At all times, not just during their festivals.
We needed a hairy hero
Our agency decided to stand up for Indians. By calling upon a Macha who’s great at stand-up: Kavin Jay. Using comedy riddled with spicy stereo-typejokes, he reminded clients and agencies why Malaysian born Indians are worth engaging.
We broke into song and dance…
…when we found that many folks were inspired by our mission. But will clients and agencies feature more Indians in their ads? Perhaps we’ll find out at the next Kancils. (Especially if Nissan ‘Almera Affair’ wins at this Kancils!)
